Daniela Ruah is offering fans a rare and heartfelt glimpse into her life off screen. The NCIS: Los Angeles alum recently shared a belated Father’s Day tribute to her husband of 11 years, David Paul Olsen, celebrating both his devotion as a dad and their close-knit family.
The 41-year-old actress posted a serene Instagram photo of their two children — River, 11, and Sierra, 8 — sitting beside their father on a rocky shoreline, all dressed in scuba gear and gazing out at the water. “Happy belated Father’s Day to the best daddy we could ask for,” Daniela wrote. “You love our cubs fiercely and I’m so lucky I get to raise them with you.”
Daniela and David’s love story traces back to NCIS: LA, where David worked as a stunt double and was introduced to her by his brother — and her co-star — Eric Christian Olsen. Beyond acting, David is also an entrepreneur, having created the Garrison Door, a reinforced locking system inspired by his experience as a former Navy SEAL and a frightening home break-in.
