The NCIS: Origins fall finale is gearing up to be one of the prequel’s most emotional hours yet. While Lala Dominguez fights to save her criminal informant Twitchy Tony after he’s shot—uncovering the deep, sibling-like bond they’ve built—Gibbs is caught in a very different kind of struggle.
Executive producers tease that Gibbs is torn between two women: Diane, whose new job could take them to Los Angeles together, and Lala, whose near-kiss with him last season still hangs heavily between them. His feelings for both run deep, but not in the same way—and the internal tug-of-war takes center stage.
Meanwhile, fans will see more of Mike Franks’ complicated family dynamic as his brother Mason returns, now living on Abe Pruitt’s compound.
