NCIS: Origins Completes Its “Fed Five” Lineup With Two New Additions md14

NCIS: Origins is officially rounding out its iconic “Fed Five.” In Season 2, Episode 11 (“Feelin’ Alright?”), Adam Kulbersh (Law & Order: SVU, Modern Family) and Mark Deklin (Blue Bloods, Glamorous) join the prequel series as NIS Special Agent Felix Betts and NIS Special Agent Dan McLane.

They complete the task force alongside three already-introduced members: young Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Austin Stowell), Mike Franks (Kyle Schmidt) and Dwayne Pride, newly cast with Shea Buckner. The characters were originally portrayed by Mark Harmon, Muse Watson, and Stuart Margolin in the main NCIS universe.

Who Are the New Agents?
Betts is an auditor from the Los Angeles office brought in to assist a new Pendleton task force. McLane, meanwhile, is a legendary veteran agent from the Panama branch called in to help stop a stolen-weapons operation.

The upcoming episode will spotlight Pride—known to fans from NCIS: New Orleans, where Scott Bakula originated the role. In Origins, he’s a fresh probationary agent with old tensions to resolve with Gibbs as the pair go undercover.

The “Fed Five” storyline was first seen in the Season 11 two-parter “Crescent City,” which introduced Pride and launched NCIS: New Orleans. With Origins set in the ’90s, the lore connects neatly, since the task force disbanded in 1994.

For now, the Fed Five are set for a single episode—though producers are keeping options open for future storylines.

NCIS: Origins is produced by CBS Studios, with David J. North, Gina Lucita Monreal, Mark Harmon, and Sean Harmon serving as executive producers.
