NCIS: Origins is officially bringing back Dwayne Pride, the iconic character Scott Bakula played on NCIS: New Orleans, but with a fresh twist. The prequel series has cast Shea Buckner to portray a younger Pride, now a Probationary Special Agent fresh out of the NIS Panama office. Buckner will appear in an upcoming episode that delves into Pride’s early career and his complicated history with a young Leroy Jethro Gibbs, played by Austin Stowell.
The episode also reunites the famed “Fed Five” task force, the elite group of NIS agents who gained fame after unmasking the Privileged Killer in NCIS Season 11. Alongside Pride and Gibbs, young versions of Mike Franks (Kyle Schmid) and other key agents will appear, giving fans a glimpse into the origins of the team’s legendary dynamic.
NCIS: Origins continues to air Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET on CBS, with episodes streaming the next day on Paramount+.
