NCIS Loses a Pillar: David McCallum, Who Played Ducky for Two Decades, Passes Away md20

As we close in on the end of the year, we still have some new episodes of NCIS season 23 to look forward to. This latest episode involves someone stealing…time?

You will not want to miss a beat of NCIS season 23 episode 8, as it’s packed with an intriguing case and a new team member. That team member is likely someone that nobody really wants. At least, not everyone on the team will want to be around.

The new episode will air at the usual time of 8 p.m. ET/PT tonight, Tuesday, Dec. 9. It starts off a night of the NCIS franchise, with the NCIS: Origins season 2 fall finale following and then a new episode of NCIS: Sydney. Note that only Origins will air its finale this week!

CBS makes it easy to watch the show, whether you’ve cut the cord or not. You can tune in via your regular cable or use something like Fubo TV or YouTube TV to watch live.

What if you don’t have time (not because it’s stolen) to watch the show? Well, CBS makes it even easier, as you can tune into Paramount+ the day after new episodes air. NCIS season 23 episode 8 will stream at around 3 a.m. ET/12 a.m. PT on Wednesday, Dec. 10.

The new episode will see the team gather together to solve an intriguing case. After the Secret Service shoot a man outside of the vice president’s residence, the team is called in to get to the bottom of it. It turns out that this man could be a thief who is looking to steal time. How exactly do you do that? Well, Kasie is sure to explain.

When a man is shot by the Secret Service outside the vice president’s official residence, NCIS is aided in the case by a new member of the team — an AI chatbot being beta-tested by the Department of Justice.

There’s a new team member working on the case, as well. An AI chatbot is given to the team by the Department of Justice to help with the investigation so that they can beta-test it. Well, it looks like Jimmy is the one given the task of beta-testing, which is a curious decision. Why not the more tech-savvy Kasie or McGee? There hasn’t be a reason neither of them want AI in their offices!

The episode is sure to bring up a lot of debate about AI in the workplace, especially with so many debates in the world of TV and movies. What exactly will happen with the chatbot, and will it disappear by the end of the episode?
