‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ Star Linda Hunt Hospitalized After Hollywood Car Accident

Beloved NCIS: Los Angeles actress Linda Hunt was hospitalized following a serious car crash in Hollywood on Monday.

According to eyewitness reports, Hunt was behind the wheel of a black BMW SUV when she attempted a left turn and collided with a sedan, which then led to a second impact with a Honda SUV. The crash left Hunt visibly shaken. Bystanders quickly came to her aid, helping her to a nearby lawn chair on the sidewalk as emergency services arrived.

Paramedics assessed Hunt at the scene and ultimately determined she needed to be transported to a nearby hospital for further evaluation. Thankfully, the drivers of the other vehicles involved sustained only minor injuries.

Hunt, 79, is a fan-favorite on NCIS: Los Angeles, having portrayed Operations Manager Hetty Lange in more than 200 episodes. Beyond her on-screen work, she’s also well known for her voice acting, including her iconic role as Grandmother Willow in Disney’s Pocahontas and several notable video game credits.

Law enforcement officials confirmed that only one person was hospitalized in connection to the accident. The cause of the crash is currently under investigation.

As of now, there has been no official update on Hunt’s condition. Reps for the Emmy-winning actress have not yet responded to requests for comment.
