Daniela Ruah, best known for playing Special Agent Kensi Blye on NCIS: Los Angeles, recently wowed her Instagram followers with a daring move that proves she’s just as athletic off-screen as she is in character.
In a post shared on July 10, the 38-year-old actress showed off her impressive balance by performing a headstand on a paddleboard. Clad in a black t-shirt, blue shorts, and water shoes, Daniela pulled off the pose on the water while her 8-year-old son River paddled at the front of the board. The headstand featured a bent-leg twist, adding an artistic touch to her already impressive feat.
Fans flooded the comments with admiration. “Wow, you go girl ❤️🙌,” one user wrote. Another joked, “I can barely stand on solid ground 😮.” Someone else added playfully, “Okay, now you’re just showing off.”
The photo was taken during a summer vacation in Idaho — a peaceful break before Daniela headed back to set. Production for NCIS: Los Angeles season 14 resumed in late August, with the season premiere airing on October 9. With filming in full swing alongside co-stars Eric Christian Olsen (who is also her brother-in-law), LL Cool J, and Chris O’Donnell, it’s likely she won’t have much downtime again for a while.
In addition to her on-screen role, Daniela also returned behind the camera, directing episodes — a move that excited longtime fans of the show.
