‘NCIS: Los Angeles Cast Reunites for Thriller ‘…And Then She Was Gone’ md14

Daniela Ruah is stepping back into familiar company — but in a much darker setting. The NCIS: Los Angeles star is reuniting with Natalia del Riego, who played her on-screen daughter on the CBS hit, in the upcoming psychological thriller …And Then She Was Gone.

Adapted from Karen McQuestion’s novel The Moonlight Child, the film follows Niki, a 19-year-old former foster child adjusting to life with her new guardian, Sharon Lemke. When the pair notice a strange girl in the neighboring house, their curiosity leads them into a mystery that unravels into something far more unsettling.

The project marks a behind-the-scenes NCIS: LA reunion as well. Tawnia McKiernan directs from a script by Justin Kohlas, both longtime collaborators from the series. Ruah also serves as an executive producer alongside Kohlas and Riccardo Maddalosso, with Christian Hall producing for Two Independent Eyes.

Set to begin production in fall 2026, the film signals a suspenseful new chapter for Ruah — and an intriguing reunion fans won’t want to miss.
