‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ Alum Dead at 45 md14

Rachael Carpani, best known for her role as Jodi Fountain on McLeod’s Daughters and for appearing in NCIS: Los Angeles, has died at the age of 45.

Her sister confirmed the news on Instagram, saying the actress passed away on Dec. 7 after living with a chronic illness.

Carpani studied acting at the Australian College of Entertainment at Macquarie University before leaving her final year early to join the cast of McLeod’s Daughters, the series that launched her career.

She later appeared in the first season of NCIS: Los Angeles and continued working in both television and film, including a role in Ben Affleck’s The Way Back.
