For years, NCIS fans have wondered what happened after Gibbs left for Alaska. Now they’re getting answers.
Mark Harmon will make a special guest appearance in a Veterans Day crossover event linking NCIS and NCIS: Origins. The story begins in the ‘90s, as young Gibbs and the NIS team investigate the death of a naval officer. In present day, the case resurfaces — bringing viewers face-to-face with the older Gibbs once again.
Producers promise surprises, hinting that Gibbs may not be living the isolated life everyone assumed. “He’s no longer alone,” they revealed.
Could this connect to Cecilia “Lala” Dominguez, Gibbs’ complicated love interest in Origins? Actress Mariel Molino recently described them as “star-crossed lovers,” suggesting their story is far from simple.
The crossover airs Nov. 11 on CBS and streams the next day on Paramount+.
