NCIS: LA Gears Up for a New Era of High-Stakes Missions md14

NCIS: Origins is officially tapping into NCIS: Los Angeles history in its Season 1 finale.

The April 28 episode, titled “Cecilia,” revisits one of the most defining moments in Gibbs’ past: the killing of Pedro Hernandez. As the truth comes to light, a familiar figure enters the story — Military Police investigator Lara Macy.

Fans may remember Macy as the SAC introduced in NCIS Season 6’s two-part episode “Legend,” which served as the backdoor pilot for NCIS: LA. Originally portrayed by Louise Lombard, the character was later replaced by Hetty Lange when the spinoff moved forward.

In NCIS: Origins, Macy is played by Claire Berger, who brings a younger, more ambitious edge to the character. With Gibbs’ allies working behind the scenes to protect him, Macy must decide whether justice outweighs circumstance — setting up one of the prequel’s most morally complex moments yet.
