NCIS Cast Reflects on Favorite Episodes Ahead of Episode 500 md14

As NCIS prepares to air its landmark 500th episode, the cast is looking back at the moments that meant the most to them across more than two decades on screen.

Sean Murray admitted choosing just one episode as McGee is nearly impossible, saying some of his favorite memories come from late-night shoots at Golden Oak Ranch alongside the late David McCallum. For him, the toughest filming days often became the most memorable.

Brian Dietzen highlighted Season 14’s “Keep Going” as especially meaningful, along with the tribute episode he helped write honoring David McCallum’s legacy.

Rocky Carroll pointed to two milestones: his debut in “Internal Affairs” and the first episode he directed, “We Build, We Fight.”

Katrina Law remembered the excitement of rescuing Gary Cole underwater in the Season 21 finale, calling the stunt sequence “epic.”

Wilmer Valderrama said Gibbs’ farewell episode “Great Wide Open” left a lasting impact, while his own introduction in “Rogue” remains unforgettable.

Diona Reasonover chose “Blarney,” filmed just before the pandemic shutdown, as a standout experience early in her run as Kasie.

Showrunner Steven D. Binder, meanwhile, praised the Young Ducky flashback episodes and the fan-favorite “Devil’s Triangle” trilogy featuring Gibbs, Diane, and Fornell as some of his personal favorites. ⭐
