More NCIS actors have sadly passed away since appearing on the CBS franchise.
Gregory Itzin
Gregory Itzin appeared on NCIS as Spencer Downing and later as Director Charlie, first in 2003 and again in a guest role in 2020. He was also widely known for his roles on 24 and Judging Amy. Itzin passed away in July 2022 following complications during emergency surgery.
Heath Freeman
Heath Freeman portrayed Benjamin Frank on NCIS and was also recognized for his chilling performance as serial killer Howard Epps on Bones. He died tragically in November 2021 at the age of 41, with the cause of death revealed the following year.
