“My Boy’s Finally Home”: Gordon Ramsay Proudly Announces Jack Ramsay Has Left the Royal Marines

Gordon Ramsay shared an emotional update this week, announcing that his eldest son, Jack Scott Ramsay, has officially completed his service with the Royal Marines Commando and is now back to civilian life.

In a heartfelt Instagram post, Gordon posted a family photo of Jack — no longer in uniform — standing with his wife, parents, and siblings. He wrote:

“My boy Jack has finished his time with the Royal Marines. After nearly six years of incredible service, dedication and sacrifice, he’s officially out. I couldn’t be prouder of the man he’s become. He did it quietly, he did it properly, and he did it with honour. Welcome home, son. The next chapter starts now.”

Jack, 27, joined the elite force in 2020 and served as a Commando for almost six years. Known for keeping an extremely low profile, Jack rarely appeared in family documentaries or public events due to the nature of his military role. Gordon has repeatedly called his son’s service “one of the proudest moments of my life.”

In a short video attached to the post, Gordon spoke with visible pride and relief:

“Jack gave everything to the Marines. The brutal training, the deployments, the early mornings — he never complained. He’s always been the strong, quiet one in this mad family. Now he’s coming home to his wife, and soon to his first child. I’m so fucking proud of him. Well done, son.”

The timing feels perfect for the Ramsay family. Jack married in a private ceremony earlier this year, and he and his wife are expecting their first baby later in 2026. Many fans see this as Jack stepping out of military life just in time to focus fully on fatherhood.

Social media quickly filled with warm messages of congratulations:

  • “Jack served with honour. What a legend.”
  • “From Royal Marine to soon-to-be dad — this is beautiful.”
  • “Gordon looks so genuinely happy. We love seeing this side of him.”

Tana Ramsay also shared her feelings, writing: “Our boy is finally home. After years of worry and pride, we can breathe a little easier. Thank you for your service, Jack. We love you.”

With Jack now transitioning back to civilian life, the family is focusing on supporting him and his wife as they prepare for the arrival of their first child — the first grandchild for Gordon and Tana.

Gordon ended his announcement with a touch of his classic humour: “No more early parades for you, son. But if you ever want to come help in a kitchen… the door’s always open. (Just don’t burn the fucking Beef Wellington!)”

After years of quiet dedication and sacrifice, Jack Ramsay is finally home. The Ramsay family continues to celebrate another important milestone in 2026.
