The actor, who reprised his iconic role as Tony DiNozzo alongside Cote de Pablo’s Ziva David, took to X to thank fans for a creative and heartfelt campaign that clearly struck a nerve.
The campaign included a striking digital billboard in New York City’s Times Square, which lit up every hour with a QR code directing passersby to a “Save Tony & Ziva” page. Weatherly, visibly moved, reshared the images and admitted the gesture nearly brought him to tears, calling it “beautiful” and offering a “gigantic thank you” to everyone involved.
Premiering in September 2025, Tony & Ziva quickly became a hit with longtime fans, earning an 82% Certified Fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes and praise for the leads’ enduring chemistry. Despite the strong reception, Paramount+ confirmed the series would not return, leaving viewers stunned — and determined to fight for more.
