Melissa Rauch Kept a Meaningful Big Bang Theory Memento From the Set md14

After nearly a decade on The Big Bang Theory, Melissa Rauch didn’t just say goodbye to Bernadette Rostenkowski — she took a piece of the character with her. When filming wrapped in 2019, executive producer Steve Molaro surprised Rauch by gifting her Bernadette’s signature glasses, a prop she’d worn throughout her 209-episode run.

Rauch later shared that the gesture was deeply emotional, especially as she filmed the final episode, “The Stockholm Syndrome.” Realizing it was the last time she’d use Bernadette’s distinctive voice, she described the moment as “saying goodbye to a friend.” The glasses, she said, are now safely stored in a special box.

Rauch wasn’t alone in taking home a keepsake. Simon Helberg pocketed his pilot-era Nintendo controller belt buckle, while Kaley Cuoco claimed the iconic Rock ’Em Sock ’Em Robots poster. Together, the mementos reflect how deeply the cast connected to the show that defined a generation of sitcom television.
