Virgin River is expanding again! With Season 7 officially in the works, fans are getting their first look at the fresh characters set to shake up the small town — and they’re bringing plenty of intrigue with them.
Sara Canning (beloved by Vampire Diaries fans) joins the cast as Victoria, a former cop-turned-investigator for the state medical board. Her arrival puts her directly in Doc’s orbit — and you can already imagine Hope hovering nearby for answers. But Victoria isn’t just in town on business. Someone from her past still has a hold on her, setting the stage for surprises and maybe even a heartfelt reunion.
Also joining the series is Cody Kearsley (Riverdale, Daybreak) as Clay, an athletic rodeo veteran with a tough exterior and a tender backstory. Raised in foster care with a younger sister he later lost touch with, Clay arrives in Virgin River carrying unresolved heartbreak — and determination to find the family he lost.
Of course, all the fan favorites will be back. Mel and Jack navigate married life, Preacher juggles love and danger as always, and Doc and Hope continue proving that second chances can be every bit as romantic as first love.
Season 7 isn’t here yet, but these new additions promise fresh drama, new connections, and that signature Virgin River warmth. The town just keeps growing — and fans wouldn’t have it any other way.
