Station 19 fans were invited to Dream It Conventions on May 7, 2023, for Dream It At Home 20. That day, Danielle Savre (Maya) met virtually with her audience to talk about the series. Among the favorite topics of the discussions: Maya and Carina’s storyline in season 6 of Station 19. Maya and Carina fans didn’t get a second of respite in season 6 of Station 19. Danielle Savre and Stefania Spampinato, who played the couple, were therefore very involved in all these upheavals. Danielle returns to the entire recent storyline between the two women and admits that Stefania even pitched an idea for the script herself. Indeed, since Maya and Carina are finally starting to mend fences, the actresses suggested that they go on another date to restart their relationship. Indeed, it was important for them to show how two people enter into a relationship again, get to know each other again and make their “second” times as if they were the first. Each step was important, the first kiss, the first love scene and all on better foundations. Stefania and Danielle suggested that she not wear it right away. “ We decided when she takes it off and when she puts it back on. During the rest of the conversation, Danielle also discussed her expectations for the future of Maya and Carina’s story. She hopes to see them as parents. She would love to see how they manage their two lives: as independent women through their responsible jobs and as mothers. ” From a representational perspective, it’s super interesting! ” Danielle enthuses. Of course, she doesn’t know when all this would happen and wouldn’t be able to say anything even if it did. But, she hopes soon! And she can’t wait.
Another topic discussed: Carina’s past. Indeed, fans are wondering if Carina’s story will soon be further explored and unfolded in order to learn more about her past. Once again, Danielle is in tune with her audience. ” I hope so ,” she replies. ” It’s always complicated for each actor, since everyone wants their story to be told next. And, I think it’s time to unfold Carina’s story ,” continues Danielle. She adds that she would also like this storyline, if it happens, to be shown a little more in Grey’s Anatomy .
