From dancing to dating, Leslie Fhima is proving that age is just a number—and ambition doesn’t retire.
When Leslie Fhima first appeared on The Golden Bachelor, she was instantly memorable: vibrant, stylish, and refreshingly direct. Her chemistry with Gerry Turner developed fast, and many fans pegged her as the likely winner. But in one of the season’s most gut-wrenching moments, Gerry told Leslie she wasn’t “the one”—just days after seemingly promising her a future together.
It was a raw, emotionally charged breakup that left viewers stunned—and Leslie, blindsided.
Picking up the pieces on her own terms
That moment, however, didn’t break Leslie. If anything, it launched her into a new phase of life.
In the months following the finale, Leslie has used her platform to inspire women over 60 to pursue their passions unapologetically. “I cried, sure,” she told Good Morning America. “But then I danced it out. Literally.”
Leslie—an accomplished dancer and fitness instructor in Minneapolis—turned that heartbreak into movement. She’s since launched “Golden Moves,” a dance-based fitness program designed for women over 50. Combining cardio, strength training, and affirmations, her program quickly drew attention both online and in local studios.
“I wanted to create a space where we’re not just working out—we’re celebrating our bodies,” Leslie said in an Instagram Live. “This is about joy, not punishment.”
Dating, honesty, and boundaries
Leslie has also been candid about navigating the dating scene after the show. In an appearance on the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast, she shared that she’s gone on a few dates since The Golden Bachelor, but nothing serious—yet.
“I learned that I’m not going to settle,” she said. “Not for attention, not for convenience, and definitely not for someone who isn’t all in.”
Fans appreciate her transparency, especially in a media landscape that often glosses over the complexities of dating after 60. Leslie has become a fan favorite not just for her looks or energy, but for her authenticity.
She also hasn’t shied away from addressing her disappointment with how the finale unfolded. While careful not to directly criticize Gerry, she has spoken about the emotional whiplash of feeling chosen—and then suddenly not.
“It felt like whiplash because it was,” she admitted. “But I’m okay. Better than okay.”
Growing her brand beyond the show
While some Bachelor Nation alumni pivot to podcasting or influencer deals, Leslie is building a brand that feels distinctly hers. “Golden Moves” is expanding into merchandise, digital classes, and even a motivational book tentatively titled Still Sparkling: How I Got My Shine Back at 64.
She’s also appeared as a guest on shows like The View and Today, often speaking about aging with confidence and joy. Leslie says she’s received hundreds of messages from women around the world thanking her for being a relatable role model.
“I didn’t go on TV to become famous,” she said recently. “I went because I wanted to fall in love. And while I didn’t find that, I found a different kind of connection—with myself, and with so many incredible women.”
A possible return to TV?
Rumors continue to swirl that Leslie might be considered for a future lead role on The Golden Bachelorette, should ABC greenlight a spin-off. While she hasn’t confirmed any talks, Leslie remains open.
“If the right opportunity came along—and it felt honest—I’d consider it,” she said. “But I’m not chasing a spotlight. I’m chasing peace.”
And as she continues to dance, teach, and speak her truth, Leslie Fhima is proving that a second act can sometimes shine even brighter than the first.
