Golden Bachelor alum Leslie Fhima is clearing the air about her rumored romance with Golden Bachelorette suitor Jordan Heller. The pair sparked dating speculation after Leslie shared a playful selfie with Jordan on her Instagram Story in late October.
During a recent appearance on the BachMakers podcast, Leslie confirmed that she initiated the connection by sliding into Jordan’s DMs. She revealed that Jordan had caught her attention during Joan Vassos’ season of The Golden Bachelorette. Following their online exchange, Jordan invited Leslie to join him at an LA Football Club suite to watch a soccer game. It was during this outing that they snapped the now-infamous selfie.
“We were going to take a selfie, but I’m really short—not even 5’4”—and he’s kind of tall, so the selfie was awkward,” Leslie explained. Laughing, she added, “I had this idea and told him, ‘Catch me.’ I jumped up, and that’s how we got the picture.”
Though fans were quick to speculate that the outing was a date, Leslie clarified on the podcast, “We’re just friends right now,” before teasing, “Who knows what is going to happen?” She noted that she and Jordan share a lot in common, including their Jewish heritage and Midwestern roots. Leslie highlighted the tight-knit connection between Jewish communities in Minneapolis and Chicago, where they’re both from.
The rumored romance has sparked plenty of chatter among Bachelor Nation fans. On Reddit, a thread titled “Leslie and Jordan of Golden Bach/Bachelorette Together” was flooded with enthusiastic comments. “This is my Jewish power couple,” one user wrote. Another added, “This makes so much sense—two Midwestern Jews with youthful energy and liberal politics.”
Leslie herself has also spoken warmly about Jordan in recent interviews. During an interview with Entertainment Tonight after the October 29 episode of Dancing with the Stars, Leslie admitted, “I think he’s amazing and adorable. He’s very cute and handsome. We have so much in common, so you never know.” When asked if there were mutual feelings, Leslie coyly laughed, “Well, on my end.”
Leslie went on to describe what stood out about her connection with Jordan. “It’s really nice because it feels organic,” she said. “We’re meeting outside the pressure of cameras and microphones. It’s real.” She added that seeing Jordan on TV gave her an instant sense of familiarity. “He kind of feels like home. We’re both from the Midwest, and I think we just have a lot in common.”
Even if their connection doesn’t turn romantic, Leslie is optimistic. “I think he’ll be a good friend,” she said.
Whether it’s friendship or something more, Bachelor Nation is buzzing about the possibility of Leslie and Jordan becoming the franchise’s next big couple.
