Lacey Chabert Shares Heartfelt Message to Former ‘Party of Five’ Co-Star Jennifer Love Hewitt There’s nothing more special than seeing longtime friends support each other, and that’s exactly what Lacey Chabert did for someone who’s been with her for nearly 30 years.
On September 25, actress Jennifer Love Hewitt shared that she received a physical copy of her upcoming memoir, Inheriting Magic (out December 10). Sharing a tearful Instagram photo of herself holding the book, the 9-1-1 star expressed her feelings about bringing her story of learning through pain to life in a way that her fans can benefit from.
“From my heart comes the need to let go of more pain,” Jennifer began in a lengthy caption. “To honor my mother, the love I found and the family we created. To share the magic so that the magic continues forever for all of us to experience. In my brain I conceived the idea and then never stopped believing it could happen. And today, in my hands, I hold it. I cried so many tears of sadness and joy writing this and then holding it for the first time. I truly hope you enjoy it and I have no words to express how honored I am to be her daughter.”
“Inheriting magic is a feeling and a mission for all of us to make this precious life a little more special,” she added. “I am filled with gratitude and love to all of you.”
Given how Jennifer and Lacey have known each other since their days together on Party of Five, it was only fitting that Lacey would leave a heartfelt message for her friend’s incredible achievement.
“I can’t wait to read it! Congrats!!!! 💜🎉,” she replied in the comments.
Lacey wasn’t the only one excited about Jennifer’s news. Fans were equally excited about what’s to come.
“Oh my gosh. So proud of you. Congrats. Can’t wait for my copy! ❤️,” one person wrote. “I’m so proud of you and can’t wait to read it 💕✨,” another wrote. “🥂 🔥🙌❤️ I think it’s amazing. 🥲 what a special tribute to your mom. 😍,” another follower added.
Viewers may remember Lacey as Claudia Salinger for all six seasons of Party of Five, while Jennifer played Sarah Reeves Merrin starting in season 2. While the two haven’t worked together in a while (Lacey last guest-starred on Jennifer’s Ghost Whisperer series), we’re glad to see that their friendship is still as strong as ever.
Perhaps this is one step closer to them sharing the screen together again one day.
