Best known as Penny on The Big Bang Theory, Kaley Cuoco has enjoyed massive success on television—but not every project has been a hit. One of her most overlooked big-screen outings, the 2014 comedy Authors Anonymous, is now streaming for free on YouTube (with ads), giving curious viewers a chance to judge it for themselves.
The film follows Cuoco as a writer who becomes an overnight literary sensation, sparking jealousy within her struggling authors’ group. Despite a promising premise and a cast that includes Chris Klein, the movie was widely panned. Critics were unforgiving, with Rotten Tomatoes awarding it a dismal 8% score and viewers branding it “a spectacular waste of time.”
