The ‘Based on a True Story’ star is looking for a canine Chief Treat Officer for her pet care brand Oh Norman!
Kaley Cuoco is hiring! And she is searching for the right dog for the job.
In 2023, the Big Bang Theory star launched her pet care brand, Oh Norman! The company is off to a strong start, so now Cuoco wants to add more experts to its staff. The actress’ own pets, including rescue dogs Red, Ruby, and Opal, have helped Cuoco develop Oh Norman’s offerings.
“I launched Oh Norman! to fill the gap in the market for affordable, eco-friendly, and ethically sourced products for dogs. Since launch, my furry ones have been testing all of our products from apparel and cleaning wipes to toys and treats,” Cuoco tells PEOPLE in an email interview.
Cuoco wants to add another professional canine to her crew of testers. She is currently looking to fill the Chief Treat Officer (CTO) role. To find the CTO, Cuoco has launched a nationwide search that all dogs can enter.
“We always strive to create top quality products that dogs love, and as a pet owner and co-founder of Oh Norman!, I realized there was no better way to do this than bringing in the true expert, a dog! The primary responsibilities (ResPAWnsibilities) of this position include testing and reviewing all new product innovations before they hit the market and monthly social media deliverables,” Cuoco explains.
Pet guardians residing in the continental United States can help their pups apply for the Chief Treat Officer position on ohnorman.com from June 13 through September 13. The winner will be announced in October.
“We’re looking for a dog who loves trying new things, has a keen sense of smell and taste, an understanding of trends and what their peers are interested in, as well as a good grasp on social media (with the help of someone with thumbs to assist!),” Cuoco says of her dream CTO.
The pooch selected for the position will also receive an annual salary of $10,000 and lots of Oh Norman! products.
Hiring a CTO is among the many joys Oh Norman! has brought to Cuoco’s life. A long-time animal advocate, Cuoco says that starting the brand has helped her connect with animals even more.
“I am spending more time and resources to promote and partner with rescue shelters which inevitably leads to meeting more adorable pets! Oh Norman! has opened my eyes even further (if that’s possible) to the importance of adopting and showing all dogs the love and care they deserve,” she says.
