Kaley Cuoco Says Her 19-Month-Old Is Already a ‘Comedian’ – and It’s ‘Worrisome’

Kaley Cuoco is already in awe of her 19-month-old daughter, Matilda, and her impressive sense of humor. The actress, best known for her roles in The Big Bang Theory and 8 Simple Rules, finds it “worrisome” just how funny her little one already is.

Cuoco, who shares Matilda with boyfriend Tom Pelphrey, recently shared just how hilarious the toddler is becoming. “She’s amazing. She’s a year and a half. She’s amazing… She loves everything, especially animals. She’s a comedian, she’s hysterical, and it’s very worrisome,” Cuoco said during an appearance on Extra. “She’s just very funny. She knows how to be funny. Very cheeky.”

Though Matilda’s comedic timing seems ahead of her years, Cuoco embraces her daughter’s vibrant personality, acknowledging how quickly her little girl is growing up. At only 19 months, Matilda is already showing signs of being quite the character, keeping her parents on their toes with her antics.

Cuoco is currently starring in Based on a True Story, a series where her character navigates the challenges of new motherhood, a theme she’s all too familiar with. Reflecting on her own experience, Cuoco wanted to portray the chaos and exhaustion that comes with the early stages of parenthood.

“I wanted it to really feel like when you looked at me, you felt like I needed a shower,” Cuoco explained. “You know what it’s like when you have kids – those first few weeks you don’t really shower… It’s like a blur. You’re so focused on taking care of this kid that you forget about yourself. I wanted it to feel kind of gross and chaotic and ‘new-Momsville,’ which we’ve all experienced.”

While Cuoco is still adjusting to motherhood, she’s also been vocal about her frustrations with the scrutiny that comes with being a parent in the public eye. She recently hit back at critics of her parenting style, insisting that every mom is doing their best and that judgment only adds unnecessary stress.

“Every mom, I can guarantee, is doing the best they can. Look, everyone’s got something to say about everything. There’s no change before I had kids, to having kids, to where I am in my life,” she shared with E! News. “It’s just this business, it’s this life. It is what it is. But yeah, we’ve got to stop with the shaming.”

As Cuoco continues to navigate the complexities of parenthood while balancing her career, she remains unapologetically herself, raising awareness about the pressures parents face while also savoring the special moments with her growing daughter.
