Kaley Cuoco Falling Head Over Heels for Johnny Galecki Drew a Strange Response from Her Big Bang Theory Co-Star Who Wasn’t Exactly Surprised

Kaley Cuoco and Johnny Galecki’s off-screen relationship sparked unpredictable reactions.

Sharing the screen as one of the main couples in The Big Bang Theory, Kaley Cuoco and Johnny Galecki’s on-screen romance extended into a real-life relationship. While Penny and Leonard’s relationship blossomed in the show and they even got married, Cuoco and Galecki found themselves at a breaking point.

After dating for nearly two years, they broke up. While their split initially led to some uncomfortable moments, revealing their romance to their co-stars was not an easy thing either. Despite the former couple claiming to keep their romance a secret for a long time, the revelation was not surprising to one of their co-stars, who claimed he suspected it from the very beginning.

Simon Helberg Was Not Surprised With Kaley Cuoco And Johnny Galecki’s Relationship

Kaley Cuoco and Johnny Galecki have both admitted to having crushes on each other while starring in The Big Bang Theory. However, it wasn’t until the Roseanne actor dared to ask his co-star out for a glass of wine, that their romance really started.

However, despite being in a relationship, the couple kept it a secret from the cast and crew. “We didn’t tell anyone for a long time,” Cuoco admitted, as per Vanity Fair. And the couple eventually came out in the open despite their concerns about the potential complications.

However, the revelation came as no surprise to one of their co-stars, Simon Helberg, who played the role of Howard Wolowitz in the show. The actor later shared, “The way I feel about it now is how I felt about it then, which was I found it somewhat hilarious.”

“It was not surprising,” he told Vanity Fair in an interview. The actor shared he had noted their flirtations and speculated about their connection for some time, so he was not surprised by the confirmation.

Although he was not surprised about their relationship, Helberg along with his co-stars on the show had some concerns about their on-set romance impacting their work.

The Big Bang Theory Cast Were Relieved With Relationship’s Minimal Impact on Work

One of the major concerns that The Big Bang Theory cast had about Johnny Galecki and Kaley Cuoco’s relationship was its potential impact on their work. However, while revealing their relationship, the couple also assured that it wouldn’t interfere with their professional duties.

“The biggest thing I remember was Johnny saying it won’t get in the way of work, which was nice to say,” recalled Jim Parsons while affirming that it really did not have any sort of adverse effect on their work. However, their relationship did not last, and soon their split was also a concerning issue.

The couple was together for around two years before they broke things off. Cuoco shared that at a point they had nothing to talk about and they gradually grew apart. The actress admitted that while it was odd initially, they soon returned to being friends and have remained supportive of each other ever since.

The Annette actor also praised his co-stars for their amicable split. “I am happy that it all worked out in the sense that it didn’t throw a huge wrench into the dynamic on set after they broke up,” he said, admitting that such things can often turn sour.

Both Galecki and Cuoco have continued to be close friends over the years, and The Flight Attendant star has shared that she cherishes their friendship even more than any previous relationship between them.
