Kaley Cuoco is officially heading back to The Big Bang Theory universe. In a new interview with Entertainment Tonight, the actress confirmed that her fan-favorite character Penny will appear in the upcoming spinoff, Stuart Fails to Save the Universe, set to debut on HBO Max.
Speaking with ET’s Cassie DiLaura, Cuoco shared the news while promoting her new thriller series Vanished, premiering February 1 on MGM+. The actress also opened up about filming overseas with co-star Sam Claflin, balancing work with family life, and proudly updating fans on daughter Matilda’s growing love for horseback riding.
Cuoco didn’t stop there — she also teased future projects, revealing she’s “manifesting” a role for Hacks star Jean Smart in her developing comedy Kansas City Stars.
While details about Penny’s role remain under wraps, Cuoco’s confirmation is enough to excite longtime fans eager to revisit the beloved sitcom world — this time, through Stuart’s very different lens.
