Colter is on the case! And he’s only paid when he succeeds. Tracker Season 2 is back with more cases and more mystery. CBS has released a new trailer for the season, with more action, more mystery, and the return of fan-favorite guest stars. The trailer previews a case from the Season 2 premiere, with the official synopsis (below) teasing a complex mystery. Meanwhile, the Shaw family’s secret is revealed. Elsewhere, Colter’s associates venture into something new.
“In the season 2 premiere, while investigating the strange disappearance of a missing family whose car is found abandoned on the side of a road in the Arkansas backwoods, Colter makes a shocking discovery about his mother’s past that leads him into the world of organized crime. Also, Reenie opens her new law firm and enlists Velma’s help in setting it up.”
Colter and the team solve more cases in the ‘Tracker’ Season 2 trailer The trailer shows Colter in his truck when he comes across a man who needs his help. The man’s brother hasn’t been seen or heard from in days, and he’s starting to worry. “I only get paid when I succeed,” Colter tells his worried client about his golden rule. With that understanding, Colter begins his investigation by examining the car the victim was last seen in. He notices a few odd things that clue him in to something strange going on. Colter is used to doing police work and this time is no different. When he explains what he does to a cop, she has the same confused look he’s seen before.
The investigation is the first part of the job and the hardest part is yet to come. The trailer reveals a few more cases that Colter will have to solve, cases that put him in specific positions. Good thing he knows how to handle himself if the situation calls for it. Season 2 promises more saves, fights and thrilling driving. The trailer teases some guest appearances, but the most interesting ones are his brother Russell (Jensen Ackles) and rival tracker Billie. The two siblings investigate their family’s secret that’s been covered up by the government while things get tense between Colter and Billie. Meanwhile, Velma and Reenie keep an eye out for more cases and trouble as it always happens with Colter. Reenie’s instincts are sharp, knowing when Colter is in trouble and developing feelings. Bobby rounds out Colter’s team as an IT expert who helps navigate the tech world that Colter can’t get enough of.
Justin Hartley leads the cast as Colter Shaw. Cast members include Fiona Rene as Reenie Green, Abby McEnany as Velma Bruin, Eric Graise as Bobby Exley, Jensen Ackles as Russell Shaw, and Sofia Pernas as Billie Matalon.
