Justin Hartley Teases More ‘This Is Us’ Reunion Possibilities on ‘Tracker’
As Tracker Season 2 prepares to premiere, Justin Hartley reveals whether This Is Us will feature some cameo scenes. The first season of the hit CBS series saw Hartley reunite with Jennifer Morrison, who played U.S. Marine Corps veteran Cassidy Sharp and quickly became close with Hartley’s Kevin Pearson, bonding through AA. Morrison appeared in the season 1 finale of Tracker as a friend of the Colter family, whose daughter went missing.

Additionally, Hartley’s This Is Us stepfather Jon Huertas directed an episode in the first season. So, are there more reunions in store, whether on camera or off? According to Us Weekly, the actor appeared on an October 15 episode of Tommy DiDario’s podcast I’ve Never Said This Before and was asked if fans would like to see more This Is Us stars on Tracker. “I think we will,” Hartley shared. He didn’t offer any further details, but did discuss how close he is to the cast, even two years after the NBC drama ended.

“We’ve talked about [bringing the show back in some way]. I don’t know if there’s a plan to reboot it — I’m not involved yet — that’s a whole other conversation,” Harley said. “But I still keep in touch with all of those guys. They’re all great, they’ll be my friends for life. I love them all.”

While it sounds like there could be another This Is Us reunion in the near future, that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s happening anytime soon, or even officially. Much of the cast is pretty busy with their own work and personal lives, but you never know what could happen. It would be interesting. Since Hartley seems totally okay with that, it could always happen. Fans will just have to wait and see.

In the meantime, there are still some interesting appearances in Tracker Season 2. Jensen Ackles will be back as Russell Shaw for multiple episodes starting with this Sunday’s episode. Melissa Roxburgh will also be back, possibly later this season, as Dory Shaw, Colter and Russell’s younger sister, as they delve deeper into their family situation. There’s a lot to look forward to in Season 2, even if This Is Us doesn’t reunite. One can always hope, so fans will just have to wait and see. New episodes of Tracker air Sundays at 8:30 p.m. ET on CBS. The show will resume at 8 p.m. ET on November 3.
