Justin Hartley Gets a New Best Friend in ‘Tracker’ Season 2
Justin Hartley’s Colter Shaw has been involved in a lot of missing persons cases throughout season and a half of CBS’ Tracker, but next week, the stakes will be higher than ever as he tries to bring a very good boy home. In the upcoming episode, titled “Man’s Best Friend,” Colter will track down a beloved family member who has gone missing. Ahead of this week’s episode, “Trust Fall,” which airs on November 17, the network has begun the buildup, releasing plot details and a series of images teasing the heartfelt drama that will premiere when “Man’s Best Friend” airs on Sunday, November 24. To kick things off, viewers can expect next week’s episode of the hit CBS drama to take Colter to the Denver area, where he discovers a lost dog while filling up his tank at a gas station. With his new friend safely tucked away in the truck and ready for his next mission, the unthinkable happens when the dog is stolen from the truck, forcing Colter to embark on a mission within a mission. First, he’ll need to find and rescue the dog from kidnappers before embarking on the next part of the mission – returning the very well-behaved dog to his family. The episode was written by regular writers Alex Katsenelson and Jai Franklin Sarki, with Ben Hernandez Bray directing.

Giving people what they didn’t even know they needed, the footage focuses primarily on Colter and his four-legged friend. Putting it all together, we dare you not to feel warm and fuzzy over the many images that showcase the bond that quickly formed between Colter and his rescue dog.
After appearing as one of the main members of the Pearson family on This Is Us, Hartley wasted no time getting back to work in the industry. And, it’s more clear than ever that his decision to take on the role of Colter Shaw on Tracker was a huge payoff.
