Jonathan Rone Opens Up About His Recent Breakup: ‘It Was Fast and It Just Didn’t Last’

Getting candid.

Bachelor Nation fans got to know Jonathan Rone as he looked for love with Joan Vassos on Season 1 of “The Golden Bachelorette.”

He was eliminated right before Hometowns, and while he didn’t find love with Joan, the Golden Bachelor Nation star did find love off-screen shortly after filming.

During “Men Tell All,” Jonathan shared an update on his love life and revealed that he’s started dating someone since his time on the show.

He shared his relationship with girlfriend Michelle Zimmermann on social media for the past few months but just took to Instagram to reveal that they’ve gone their separate ways.

Alongside a video, Jonathan wrote, “With a heavy heart, I want to share that I’m no longer in a relationship 💔 Thank you all for your support as I continue my journey toward happiness. I know my person is out there, and I’ll find them when the time is right. Thank you all for the love and support.”

And in the video, he explained, “I have been waiting for the right moment to do this and I believe today is the day. I want to share that I am no longer in a relationship. It was fun, it was fast, and it just didn’t last. I am grateful for all of the experiences that we shared together. Nothing is wasted in the universe of time. Moving forward, I only hope and wish the best for both of us.”

Jonathan continued on, sharing some reflections he’s had since his split with Michelle.

He got vulnerable, saying, “With that being said, I’m left with these feelings and reflections of thinking about why my relationships always end in a way that I don’t see coming? Where do I fall short? Am I not enough? Am I not worth enough? Those are silly things to think about because I know that I am.”

He ended the video on a positive note saying he’s “single as a dollar bill” and knows he’s worthy and that his person is out there.

We are wishing Jonathan all the best and know he will find the right person for him.
