After 11 seasons, the cast of The Big Bang Theory is getting ready to pack up their periodic tables and corduroys and call it quits.
Johnny Galecki, who plays Leonard on the hit CBS comedy, revealed the show will likely end after season 12. *Sad bazinga*
The BBT star said, “The only manner in which the cast has discussed wrapping [The Big Bang Theory] has been that we’re all going to be very sad when that day comes. But I think at this point everyone’s very comfortable with 12 seasons being a good time to go home and see our families.”
The quirky comedy is currently in the middle of its 11th season, so we still have a bit more time to enjoy Sheldon (Jim Parsons), Leonard and Penny’s (Kaley Cuoco) idiosyncrasies.
At least the spin-off Young Sheldon was just renewed for a second season.
