Joe Amabile Is Just as Confused as Fans About Bachelor in Paradise’s Golden Twist

Bachelor Nation star Joe Amabile weighs in on the Golden twist for season 10 of Bachelor in Paradise during an exclusive interview with Life & Style.

“I don’t know what’s up with that. That threw me for a loop as well,” Joe, 38, tells Life & Style about the Bachelor in Paradise twist while promoting his partnership with Eroxon.

After fans watched Grant Ellis propose to Juliana Pasquarosa during The Bachelor season 29 finale on Monday, March 24, host Jesse Palmer announced that Bachelor in Paradise was coming back after a hiatus and would include cast members from The Bachelor, The Bachelorette, The Golden Bachelor and The Golden Bachelorette.

Jesse, 46, confirmed that The Bachelor’s Zoe McGrady, The Golden Bachelor’s Leslie Fhima and The Golden Bachelorette’s Gary Levingston will be included in the cast, though he didn’t explain how the show will work with the different age groups.

“I’m curious to see how it’s actually filmed or aired because now you have the Golden [cast] and the regular,” Joe says. “I wonder if they’re going to intertwine. I don’t know how they’re going to do that or if it’s, like, they’re just going to film the Golden in a separate area of the beach.”

In addition to admitting his confusion about the show’s twist, Joe also reveals which franchise cast members he would like to see show up to the beach. “Maybe bring back Sam [McKinney], who was kind of the so-called villain on Jenn [Tran’s] season. I think he could get a redemption story potentially,” he says, adding that Kat Izzo would also be a good person to see on the show.

“If you find someone that you truly are interested in, don’t sway. Stick to that person and ride it til the end to see if it works,” Joe says. “I think a lot of the problem with Paradise is people believe that going down to Paradise, you should hop around. And once you start doing that, very seldom does it work. I mean, it happens, but that would be my advice.”

Joe shares his thoughts on the upcoming season of Bachelor in Paradise amid his partnership with Eroxon. The product is the first FDA-cleared gel available without a prescription for erectile dysfunction (ED). According to a study survey conducted by Eroxon, 94 percent of men between the ages of 25-44 in the United States agree that sexual health is an essential part of wellness. However, only 41 percent of the men surveyed said that they always discuss their sexual health with their doctor or healthcare provider.

“I partnered with them a few months ago and was really interested. I think it’s just bringing awareness to men’s health,” Joe tells Life & Style about his interest in the partnership. “It’s something men don’t want to talk about. So when they introduced their AI chatbot, it’s a secure place where men could talk about this issue.”

He continues, “I think a lot of men suffer from it and they just aren’t really comfortable talking about it.”
