Joan Vassos, the beloved first-ever Golden Bachelorette, is showing love for her former suitors after they reunited and shared a fun-filled Instagram video. The post, featuring Jonathan Rone, Jack Lencioni, Gary Levingston, and Keith Gordon, was shared on Sunday, December 8, and sparked a playful comment from Vassos herself.
The video, captioned “Rolling with My Hommies✨✨✨✨✨” by Rone, 62, showcased the gentlemen singing and dancing along to Taylor Dane’s classic “Tell It to My Heart” while chilling in a car. Dressed in suits, they brought back memories of their days competing for Vassos’ heart.
After seeing the video, Joan, 61, couldn’t resist chiming in. “My old boyfriends are hot!” she wrote, showing that despite finding love with Chock Chapple, Vassos still has an affectionate fondness for her past contestants.
During The Golden Bachelorette, Vassos navigated the dating scene with a cast of eligible men, ultimately choosing Chapple, 60, as her fiancé. Although her relationship with Chapple blossomed into a beautiful romance, Joan didn’t stop supporting her former suitors. In November, she shared with Us Weekly that she’s been actively setting up her exes with potential matches.
“I’ve already set three of them up—we have love connections that are brewing right now,” Vassos said. “There are already five guys from this season involved with somebody, and I’m not surprised they’re finding love.” She added that she was working on matchmaking two more contestants.
While Vassos didn’t name names, Bachelor Nation fans noted that Jack Lencioni, 68, was seen next to Susan Noles during the season finale. Leslie Fhima and Jordan Heller have also been spotted spending time together, though they have clarified they are “just friends.”
Rone, who was eliminated early in the season, shared his own love story during the “Men Tell All” episode. He expressed gratitude to Joan for setting him on a path to new love and revealed he was now dating Michelle Zimmermann. “I just wanted to say thank you for the opportunity. I wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for you. I met someone, and the most important thing is that I’m happy,” Rone shared.
For Joan, the reunion of her former suitors is a reminder of the strong bonds forged during her time as The Golden Bachelorette. Despite her happy engagement to Chapple, she’s delighted to see the love stories of those she once shared special moments with continuing to unfold.
