Bachelor Nation saw Joan Vassos and Chock Chapple fall in love and get engaged on the very first season of “The Golden Bachelorette.”
Since their time on the show, the two have been keeping fans updated on their new life together online, often posting about travel adventures, home projects, and quality time spent with their loved ones.
This week, the couple took to social media to spill the tea and answer some fan questions about their relationship.
Joan posted a video on Instagram and said, “We have some questions from people wondering about things from our relationship. So, you ready? I have not read them yet.”
The couple then dove into the first question, which asked how well they both knew each other when the show ended from 0-100%.
Joan shared, “This is gonna sound terrible, I think about the most I can give it is a 30%” and Chock then answers, “I was actually gonna say less than that. Probably 20-25%”
Joan then revealed that the first interaction they had after they got engaged on the show, was privately sharing a bottle of wine and telling each other about themselves.
“It was like an interview,” Chock said, laughing, “Everyone knows that she can’t know someone that well in that short period of time. But we knew a lot of things clicked, we had a lot of similarities and those just keep proving out.”
Joan agreed, saying, “This gets better and better every day that we get to be together.”
The couple then shared their favorite thing about each other, and Joan replied that she loves how Chock asks every day how he can make her life easier.
“You actually say those words and it’s just comforting, I know I’m gonna hear them every day,” she said, “and if there’s something that’s really bothering me, I know that you’re there for me.”
Chock then replied and shared that he loves how smart and easygoing Joan is, but also how well they complement one another and feel the need to fact check each other all the time.
The golden love birds also revealed that they’re planning on visiting Italy and France this year, and answered they both think they would’ve found each other attractive in high school if they had known each other back then.
