The Golden Bachelorette star Joan Vassos reunited with her ex-suitors during the Men Tell All special, airing on Nov. 6. In an emotional episode filled with laughter, tears, and heartfelt reflections, Joan hinted at the dramatic finale that awaits fans.
Celebrating a Unique Bond
Unlike typical Men Tell All episodes, this gathering was filled with camaraderie rather than conflict. The episode opened with the return of the “Mansion Men,” who relived memorable moments, including the Chippendales group date. One of the highlights came from Michael, a retired CEO who shared his personal battle with cancer. Diagnosed shortly before joining the show, Michael revealed that his children encouraged him to participate despite his health scare.
“What could’ve been a challenging year turned into a great one because of this experience,” Michael said. “It came at just the right time, and I’m going to be fine. It was caught early. I’m grateful for the show, Joan, and the incredible group of guys I met.”
Charles L. Steals the Spotlight
Charles L., a fan-favorite and unexpected pop culture icon, took his turn in the hot seat. When asked about his newfound fame, the 66-year-old financial analyst joked about his surprising transformation and newfound confidence.
“It’s all very unexpected,” Charles said. “I even didn’t know Jesse Palmer’s name before the show,” he quipped, drawing laughs from the audience. On a serious note, Charles shared his worries about dating again, especially considering his cultural background and his daughters’ feelings.
“But the love and support I received from my family changed everything,” he said. “I feel lighter, and I’m ready to meet someone special.”
The audience was clearly smitten, with one fan shouting, “We think you should be the next Golden Bachelor!”
Pascal Opens Up About His Emotional Exit
Pascal, who left the show before the Fantasy Suite date, took a moment to reflect on his decision. The 69-year-old salon owner explained his struggle with vulnerability during his time on the show.
“It was a very tough choice for me to leave,” Pascal admitted. “With more time, I could’ve gotten there emotionally, but at the time, I wasn’t ready. I didn’t want to hurt Joan — that was never my intention. Watching the show back, I realized I was too guarded.”
When Joan joined him on stage, Pascal expressed his admiration for her. “You are an incredible woman, Joan. I hope my departure helped you find the right person,” he said sincerely.
Joan responded with warmth, admitting that she had envisioned a future with Pascal. “I pictured a life with you,” she confessed. “I thought we might have figured things out during the Fantasy Suite, but you had already made up your mind. I want you to be happy, and I only wish the best for you.”
Joan’s Farewell Message and Tease of the Finale
Joan ended the evening by thanking her ex-suitors and expressing her desire to remain friends with all of them. She also teased the emotional conclusion of her season, with only two men left in the running: Chock Chapple and Guy Gansert.
“It was emotional, and there were a lot of tears,” she shared with a smile. “But I will tell you, some of those tears were happy ones.”
