Jensen Ackles will play former NBC Soap actor Justin Hartley’s older brother on Tracker Soap.
The Young and the Restless alum Justin Hartley (formerly played by Adam Newman), who also stars on NBC’s Passions, thanked fans and viewers on Instagram for their support of his hit Trackers, which was just renewed for a second season. Hartley teased fans that there had been talk of Colter Shaw’s estranged brother character throughout the show; fans finally got to see him, and it was a familiar face.
Days of Our Lives alum Jensen Ackles (formerly played by Eric Brady) will play Colter’s older brother Russell. The two team up to find Colter’s old army buddy, who went missing after exhibiting paranoid behavior. The brothers delve into the world of Special Forces missions, sketch shows, unofficials, and conspiracy theories as they both finally come to terms with their pasts and family issues.
Hartley told fans that more information would be revealed before the second season begins, and Ackles helped make the announcement. Check out the pair below.
