After Fifty Shades, Jamie Dornan was approached by almost every major studio—and he turned them all down. But one role still lingers in the rumor mill: a lead in a Marvel reboot.
Leaked footage shows Dornan in a superhero costume, doing a screen test for a role insiders suspect was Moon Knight or even a young Magneto.
Fans were thrilled. But Dornan walked.
Why?
“I’d just spent three years with the world seeing me as a fantasy,” he explained. “I didn’t want to be another icon. I wanted to be uncomfortable.”
The studio offered a multi-film deal. He chose an Irish indie about grief and farming.
Looking back, he has no regrets. “Superheroes are great. But I’m not here to save the world—I’m here to feel it.”
