Following endless anticipation, NCIS: Tony & Ziva finally debuted on Paramount+ on September 4, 2025. The seventh series in the popular NCIS franchise, Tony & Ziva, is described as “an unconventional love story” that reunites two of the franchise’s most beloved characters who’ve long since departed the main series. Also, in a franchise first, Tony & Ziva is the first NCIS spin-off developed as an exclusive streaming program that will not air regularly on CBS.
Given the new platform and exhibition change, it’s only right to lay out the release schedule for the 10 total episodes slated for NCIS: Tony & Ziva Season 1. The good thing for fans is that the release schedule is front-loaded with a few episodes to engage viewers before new episodes drop weekly. Here’s how, when, and where to watch NCIS: Tony & Ziva Season 1.

What Is NCIS: Tony & Ziva About?
The sixth spinoff of NCIS’ main series, Tony & Ziva, revolves around the professional and personal rapport between Anthony DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly) and Ziva David (Cote de Pablo), two long-time investigative coworkers and on-and-off romantic partners. Although the two characters last appeared on-screen together in the 2013 NCIS episode “Past, Present, and Future,” the new series revolves around Tony & Ziva’s time together in Europe.
Plot-wise, NCIS: Tony & Ziva begins with Ziva’s ostensible death, which shocks Tony to his core. Years later, as Tony raises his and Ziva’s daughter, Tali DiNozzo (Isla Gie), both are stunned to learn that Ziva is alive. Once Ziva returns to her family, Tony’s new investigative company is attacked by an unknown assailant. To get Tali out of trouble, Tony & Ziva go on the run and relocate the family to Paris, where they try to identify their attackers and readjust to living with each other again.
As a nostalgic legacy piece, taking Tony, Ziva, and Tali to Europe is a brilliant way to pay homage to the past while introducing something new. Given the new setting, a supporting cast unfamiliar to hardcore NCIS fans is sure to keep the story fresh and engaging.
Who Stars in ‘NCIS: Tony & Ziva’?
Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo have returned to portray Tony DiNozzo and Ziva David, respectively. Weatherly departed the main NCIS series in 2016, although he did appear in a special episode in 2024 paying homage to David McCallum (Ducky). Meanwhile, de Pablo exited the main series in 2013 but made guest appearances in 2018 and 2020.
Along with franchise newcomer Isla Gie (Foundation), NCIS: Tony & Ziva also stars Amita Suman as Claudette Caron (Shadow and Bone), Anne-Marie Waldeck as Fruzsi (Vienna Blood), Maximillian Osinski as Boris (Ted Lasso), Emmanuel Bonami as Pierre Galimard (Infested), James D’Arcy as Henry (Agent Carter), Lara Rossi as Sophie Summers (Crossing Lines), Julian Ovenden as Jonah (Bridgerton), Christian Caner as Ruben Zepeda (Memento Mori), Terence Maynard as Dr. Lang (The Witcher), and Nassima Benchicou as Martine (The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon).
Along with the supporting players, many of the writers and directors behind Tony & Ziva join “NCIS-Verse” for the first time.
