Ahead of the Season 6 premiere on December 19, Netflix confirmed on October 23, 2024, that Virgin River will return for a seventh season.
The cast announced the news in a special video, teasing a “big secret” before revealing the renewal.
Showrunner Patrick Sean Smith shared with Tudum:
“There’s a lot more to explore with these characters. We’ve only just begun to see Mel and Jack as a married couple, which is exciting.”
