Is Tracker Canceled?
TV shows have a long shelf life, but some get canceled pretty early. That’s what people are worried is happening with Tracker, starring Justin Hartley. So, is Tracker Canceled Before Season 2?
Premiering after the end of Super Bowl 58 on CBS, Tracker’s first season ran for 13 episodes. However, the series faced uncanny delays, leaving many fans frustrated with its release schedule. Fortunately, all of those issues seem to be in the past, as Tracker will return for a second season in 2024, avoiding becoming one of those series that gets canceled after a single premiere.
“Tracker kicked off our premiere week with a bang in the ratings and has maintained its momentum,” CBS Entertainment president Amy Reisenbach said of the renewal. “We knew we had something special when we saw the first cut of the series, and the overwhelming response from audiences confirmed it. We can’t thank Justin, our talented cast, our incredible writing and production team, and our partners at 20th Television enough for such compelling episodes. And of course, we’re incredibly grateful to the millions of viewers who tune in every week.”
When does Tracker Season 2 start?
The second season of Tracker will air much earlier than the first, with the Season 2 premiere scheduled for October 14, 2024, at 8 p.m. ET. The show will feature more of Hartley’s Colter traveling the country and solving mysteries, as well as the return of Jensen Ackles’ Russell Shaw, Colter’s brother, who has a lot to say about their family’s past.
