Mark Harmon returns to the NCIS universe this Tuesday, and the new exclusive clip raises big questions about Gibbs’ past — especially his mysterious young love, Lala.
The footage shows Harmon’s Gibbs still living in Alaska, sitting in his cabin and tinkering with an old radio. As he writes in his journal, his voiceover reflects on his three decades with NIS. Then, unexpectedly, he starts speaking aloud, saying: “Over the years, the outside changes, but inside, you still feel all the same things. You’ll see.”
But who is he talking to?
The sudden shift from inner monologue to spoken words suggests he may not be alone. Could Lala be in the cabin with him? Or is this just a side effect of too much Alaskan solitude?
We’ll get answers during the two-hour crossover event on Tuesday, Nov. 11.
