Hope gave Carter a case of whiplash on The Bold and the Beautiful. He was convinced that she wanted to return to her ex, Liam, but Hope assured him on the Tuesday, May 20 episode that she wanted to be with him. This has us wondering whether Hope is leading Carter on, and if so, why?
Confused Heart
Hope (Annika Noelle) has been all over the place since she ended her marriage to Liam (Scott Clifton). She had a passionate affair with Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) that led to his getting a broken heart. Hope didn’t want to commit. Then, she yearned for Steffy’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) hubby Finn (Tanner Novlan). When Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) revealed his attraction to her, she saw him differently. The two went from friends to lovers.
Try Again
Last week on B&B, Hope clung onto Liam. She begged him to take her back. She confessed that she still loved him, but Liam didn’t believe her. He no longer saw the spark in her eyes whenever she looked at him. Liam convinced Hope to make her relationship with Carter work out. Hope heeded his advice, but moved forward cautiously.
Now What?
On Tuesday’s episode, Hope had some good news to share with Carter. She announced that she got her job back at Forrester Creations. But Carter wanted to know about her feelings for Liam. He overheard her begging Liam to take her back. Hope didn’t want Carter to worry about Liam. She assured him that he was the right man for her, and he was always that man. This revelation left Carter feeling more confused than ever.
Afraid Of Being Lonely?
Once again, Hope looked uncertain when she hugged Carter. It reminded us of the time when she couldn’t fully commit to Thomas. It seems like she’s afraid of being alone. She didn’t like being rejected by Liam, so she went back to Carter even if she doesn’t feel the same way about him. She could be leading Carter on, which could lead him into Daphne’s arms.
