Is Drew Leaving General Hospital? Here’s What the Cast & Crew Say

General Hospital has turned the character of Drew (Cameron Mathison) into one of the most hated characters on the show. Drew’s manipulative, dirty-handed antics have nearly everyone in Port Charles gunning for him, except Willow (Katelyn MacMullen).

So many characters on General Hospital have recently said that Drew needs to be taken out for his horrible actions. The more the writers have characters coming for Drew, the more it raises the question of whether Drew is leaving the ABC soap.

Neither General Hospital nor Mathison have indicated that Drew is being written out of the show. Despite Mathison appearing in Great American Family movies and hosting the game show Beat the Bridge, he has managed to remain active on General Hospital.

The writers are definitely setting the stage for an infamous whodunit mystery involving Drew. However, that doesn’t mean the character is being killed off or that Mathison is exiting Port Charles.

It seems everyone on General Hospital hating Drew and wanting to take him down is simply storyline dedicated, much like what happened on Days of Our Lives when EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel) was shot. July sweeps are on the horizon, which would be the perfect time for something drastic to happen to Drew.

What we do know is that General Hospital fans are ready for Drew to get what he deserves. Social media has been on fire with a dislike for Drew and frustration over Mathison spoiling a recent storyline.
