Is Chicago Fire New Tonight? (September 12, 2024)
Chicago Fire season 13 is coming soon, and there’s a lot to be excited about.
For starters, it’ll feature Dermot Mulroney as 51’s new chief of police, Dom Pascal, after Eammon Walker left the series as a series regular. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg of changes coming to our favorite firefighters. As Chicago Fire showrunner Andrea Newman told NBC Insider, “This is a new era [of Chicago Fire] in many ways, though the core family is still together and will need each other to get through the twists and turns ahead. Fans can expect a number of themes [in Season 13], with new challenges, battles, and suspense as things get darker on 51!”

Is Chicago Fire new tonight? (September 11, 2024) Sadly, no.

Chicago Fire is just a few weeks away from its Season 13 premiere, which will take place alongside Season 12 of Chicago P.D. and Season 10 of Chicago Med.

“As the show continues to evolve, these characters continue to evolve. There’s a challenge of, what’s the next exciting call?” Newman said in an interview with CBR in May 2024.

Newman continued, “…What’s the next little roadblock in their path? And what’s the next step that might bring out the dark side of a character—something that triggers something for them and they have a different kind of evolution? It’s a constant challenge, but in the best way. It’s such a gift to have characters that you want to see grow and have unexpected twists and turns.”
