Is a ‘SEAL Team’ Movie in the Works? Is David Boreanaz’s Jason Returning? His Answer Is Interesting!
David Boreanaz is open to the possibility that SEAL Team could get some kind of revival or reboot after the series ended with its seventh (and final) season.
The Paramount+ show stars David as Jason Hayes, and in a recent interview, he was asked if he would be open to a reboot. His answer was interesting!
When asked if he would rule out playing Jason in any possible future revival, fans took note of his answer. “I don’t want to spoil the ending [of season 7], so he might not be able to do it,” David told TV Insider. This has led to some speculation about what will happen in the finale.
David then addressed the possibility of the show being revived as a spinoff.
“I think the idea of a movie has always been on the table because you can shoot these stories at any time, from Black Hawk, which could have been two years ago, it doesn’t really matter. We went back and did a great episode about 9/11, which I think was just a great tribute to everything about that event and how it pushed these people into their positions in their careers as operators and the sacrifices they made. But yeah, there’s always the possibility, I guess,” he mused.
