Inside The Golden Bachelor star’s love affair with A-list icon – and the song she inspired
Leslie Fhima left The Golden Bachelor viewers stunned as she opened up about her 1970s romance with a very beloved star known as the High Priest of Pop.
The Golden Bachelor’s Leslie Fhima knew how to make an impression on the first episode of the dating show – by revealing her past history with an A-list icon.
The 64-year-old fitness instructor has joined the first for the heart of Gerry Turner in the first ever older-age version of the ABC dating franchise.
But the new competitor has revealed she is used to living life near the spotlight, having had a romantic fling with the legendary singer Prince back in the last 70s.
In fact, if Leslie is to be believed, he even wrote a song about her.
During her first chats on the show, Leslie told the camera she was one of Prince’s love interests at the beginning of his career – and they were so close he even wrote his song, Sexy Dancer, about her.
Sexy Dancer, written in 1979, was never released as a single in the United States, but was released internationally as the second release from his self-titled second album.
Now fans are desperately on a digging mission to find comprehensive proof either way – hoping that Leslie at some point will provide photo or video evidence.
But whether it’s true or not, it’s clear Leslie is now on a mission to prove herself and win the heart of Gerry – and even if the Prince story is an elaborate ruse, it certainly catches the eye.
Which, fortunately for Leslie, is more than necessary in this group of feisty women looking for love.
Leslie managed to impress Gerry enough to win herself a rose and get through to the next round – but will she be able to keep him on his toes?
