Chris O’Donnell may be busy starring in 9-1-1: Nashville, but his biggest role has always been being a dad. The actor shares five children with his wife, Caroline O’Donnell, whom he married in 1997.
The couple welcomed their first child, Lily Anne O’Donnell, in 1999 while Chris was filming Vertical Limit in New Zealand. Lily later studied film at Boston College and now works in television distribution in New York.
Their eldest son, Christopher “Chip” O’Donnell Jr., was born in 2000 and grew up passionate about sports, playing everything from soccer to golf.
In 2003, the couple welcomed Charles “Charlie” O’Donnell, who followed his father into performing. Charlie has acted on NCIS: Los Angeles and appeared in stage productions like Legally Blonde.
Their fourth child, Finley O’Donnell, arrived in 2006 and also appeared briefly on NCIS: L.A. as a younger version of his father’s character.
The youngest of the family is Maeve Frances O’Donnell, born in 2007. She once joined Chris on the red carpet at the 2022 Emmy Awards and even inspired him to co-create the dance show Come Dance with Me.
Despite his busy career, Chris has often said family remains his top priority.
