Bachelor Nation host Jesse Palmer took on The Golden Bachelor, but I believe The Golden Bachelorette could be getting a new host in former Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe after some cryptic hints. After the success of The Golden Bachelor, ABC quickly realized they’d be able to host a second version of the series with The Golden Bachelorette. With an incredible cast of women having been a part of The Golden Bachelor season 1, there were quite a few candidates to choose for the lead. Joan Vassos was chosen as the lead of the series, but will there be another casting surprise?
As The Golden Bachelor’s hype has subsided, many have been wondering about The Golden Bachelorette. Slated to be part of the fall schedule, the series has a huge amount of buzz surrounding its premiere, but I’ve been wondering if the current host of Bachelor Nation, Jesse, will be part of the series. Though some believe he will, others are curious if another Bachelor Nation alumni, Kaitlyn, could be helping Joan through her journey as The Golden Bachelorette. As a former Bachelorette herself, Kaitlyn’s hosted within the franchise in the past, and I believe she’d be great on The Golden Bachelorette.
Kaitlyn Became A Bachelor Nation Favorite After Leading Season 11
While she made her first appearance of the franchise on Chris Soules’ season of The Bachelor, Kaitlyn became more of a Bachelor Nation favorite during her own season of the series. As the lead of The Bachelorette season 11, Kaitlyn had to compete for her spot against Britt Nilsson before the season even began. The men of the season were able to vote for who they wanted to be the lead, and after the opening night of the season, they chose charismatic Kaitlyn to be their lead. Excited for the journey, Kaitlyn was happy to have the chance for love.
While Kaitlyn’s season was a struggle for both her and the men on the show, she was able to fit a lot of personality in just a few episodes. Memorable, charming, and hilarious, Kaitlyn was able to make her mark on Bachelor Nation throughout the season. During her season, Kaityln ended up engaged to Shawn Booth, and when the pair ended things after a few years, she moved on to another Bachelor Nation relationship. Kaitlyn and The Bachelorette season 14’s Jason Tartick got together and were engaged until late 2023, when they broke things off with a heartbreaking Instagram post.
Kaitlyn Went On To Compete On Dancing With The Stars & Win
Although Kaitlyn was a dancer in her past, she hadn’t compted on Dancing With The Stars directly after her season of the series. Though she’d shared it was a dream of hers, Kaitlyn wasn’t offered a spot on the show until years after her appearance on The Bachelorette. Gleefully accepting her place on Dancing With The Stars season 29, Kaitlyn knew that she would be able to make it far in the competition if she put her mind to practicing hard in the competition. Kaitlyn’s partner, Artem Chigvintsev, worked well with her background and helped her to advance.
Kaitlyn and Artem made it to the finals, and after some tremendous work, she was able to secure the win on Dancing With The Stars season 29. She was thrilled that her hard work had paid off, and her time on the competition series had been incredibly memorable. Happy to be back dancing again, Kaitlyn excitedly accepted a spot on the Dancing With The Stars tour, going out on the road with the professional dancer in the cast. She was excited to be doing something that connected her to her roots, and moved into a new chapter of her life.
Kaitlyn Has Been Hinting At A New Hosting Job
Throughout the last few months, Kaitlyn has been hinting at getting a new job on her Instagram. Sharing stories about auditioning, she has been keeping quiet about what the job is and when her followers would be able to hear about it, but has been asking for people to send positive vibes for her future. Kaitllyn shared in a recent story that she’d successfully gotten the new job, happy to be moving into another phase of he life, and though the gig she’s gotten hasn’t been revealed yet, I’m convinced she’ll be hosting The Golden Bachelorette season 1.
While it could be another exciting job, I’m convinced that Kaitlyn will be hosting the new series for a few reasons. Not only was The Bachelorette a huge turning point in Kaitlyn’s life, but it was the show that brought her into the public eye. While Kaitlyn could also be a part of Dancing With The Stars season 33, I believe it makes more sense for her to be a part of The Golden Bachelorette with her history with the franchise. Kaitlyn would be a great fit to help Joan through The Golden Bachelorette experience.
