“I Should Have Seen the Warning Signs From the Start”: Jennifer Esposito’s Evil Marriage That Lasted Just 4 Months

Blue Bloods actress Jennifer Esposito had a disastrous marriage to a Hollywood A-lister, and she didn’t beat around the bush when writing her memoir.

A little-known fact about Blue Bloods star Jennifer Esposito is that she was previously married to Bradley Cooper. Their marriage was notoriously short-lived, and as Esposito later revealed in her book, there was a good reason for their quick split.

She didn’t hold back when describing the relationship as rocky and full of drama. Although the marriage was short-lived, Esposito’s candid reflections have ensured it hasn’t been forgotten.

Is Jennifer Esposito Married to Bradley Cooper?!

One of Hollywood’s lesser-known relationships was that of Jennifer Esposito and Bradley Cooper, but it certainly wasn’t without drama. While the details of how they met are unclear, their relationship was instantaneous, to the point where they got married just a month after getting engaged.

However, just four months after their engagement, People confirmed their split, citing irreconcilable differences. Esposito filed for divorce in May 2007, and TMZ revealed that they had been separated since April 5 of that year. But why? What exactly happened?

The answer to their short and tumultuous marriage came in her 2014 memoir, in which she was unabashedly critical of her ex-husband. Reflecting on their relationship, she was a little too candid about the ups and downs, offering unfiltered insights into what happened, she wrote (via US Weekly),

I should have seen the red flags from the start—in fact, they were like an entire parade of red flags—but I ignored them.

After being diagnosed with celiac disease, her doctor recommended a lighter work schedule to manage her condition. However, CBS was reportedly unable to accommodate this, and Esposito collapsed on set twice. Instead of adjusting her schedule, the studio put her on unpaid leave and prevented her from working elsewhere.

After a week of recovery, Esposito claimed that the studio did not take her illness seriously, and there were rumors that the studio even suggested that she had faked it to get a raise, leading to her eventual exit from the show.

But this is not about me. This is about a disease that people don’t understand. What happened was ugly. It made me sick.

So, to raise awareness, she decided to reveal everything in a book, not only about her battle with celiac disease but also about her life, where she is known for criticizing her ex Bradley Cooper.
