Yellowstone star Josh Lucas has announced his engagement to partner of two years, LA meteorologist and reporter Brianna Ruffalo.
Lucas, 53, known for his role as young John Dutton in the hit-drama series, revealed he popped the question this week during a romantic Italian getaway.
The actor shared the happy news on Instagram, posting an emotional video of Ruffalo wiping away tears as the band played Elvis Presley’s ‘Can’t Help Falling in Love’.
In the video, Ruffalo shows off her newly glistening diamond ring on her finger.
“For the last 2 years in Every Way and Every Day this beautiful soul has made me and my life better, deeper, and more whole,” Lucas captioned the video.
“I am so grateful and thrilled she said “Yes”.
“I WAY love you Brianna. & Thank You to our families and all the people and places that made this come true,” he continued. “I am absolutely aware I got crazy lucky.”
Newly engaged Brianna also shared a video of the happy moment.
“Almost 2 years ago this fall, and with no expectations, Josh walked into my life.. ” she began in an Instagram post.
“We knew almost immediately we had each found our person in a way we’ve never experienced – on every level.
“This was the easiest and best question I’ve ever answered. So, here’s to forever with my love, my best friend ❤️ I can’t wait to keep living this life with you 🙏🏼.”
Friends and fans rushed to the comments to congratulate the couple, with superstar Ricky Martin kicking off the celebrations: “Congratulations to you both🎉✨ 🍾.”
“So happy for you two!!!!!!” said model and actress Kaia Gerber.
“CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! This is so amazing! I love this!!!!! Yay!!!!!” said one friend, while actor Walton Giggins added: “Oh Josh…. Congratulations my brother!!!! So very happy for you!!! ✨✨✨✨.”
The couple were on a whirlwind trip to Italy visiting Ruffalo’s family hometown.
“Back to the motherland 🥰 ,” she revealed days prior. “Favorite place with my favorite guy. So wonderful to return with a quick visit to Naples this time around as well, finally got to see where my grandfather is from ❤️ fell in love with Napoli and felt my papa with me.”

Between travelling and filming, an engagement is not the only thing Lucas is celebrating.
The actor, also known for his role in Sweet Home Alabama, recently revealed he’ll be reprising his role as young John Dutton in Yellowstone’s series finale.
“I did text Taylor [Sheridan] a couple of months back and said, ‘Hey man, I’ve loved working on the show so much’. He’s like, ‘Well, we’ll be back and we’re gonna finish’,” he told Deadline.
The star also spilled some huge news about the show’s highly-anticipated ending.
“I think we’re going to do 10 or more episodes and wrap up the story,” he revealed.
With eight episodes in Season 5 Part 1, an extra 10 episodes to finish the chapter would certainly be a treat for fans!
